Audrey (full name Sacredsouls Sakura Audrey) is a Norwegian kitten who comes from the Sacredsouls cattery of Line Lund Olstand.

Audrey is a cat who belongs to the CFA circuit (the most important purebred cat association in America, with several members around the world). As you can see, Siamese cats of American lines are less extreme than European ones, that is, they have smaller and higher ears.

So why did I get this cat, if I decided to breed according to FIFe standards (the European counterpart of CFA)? Because the CFA Siamese have a splendid, slightly convex profile as stated in the standard (trivially called banana). I therefore hope to establish an excellent profile for my Siamese. Audrey also only has Siamese in her pedigree, without any Oriental: her contrast (a typical feature of the Siamese, i.e. the evident difference in light/dark between the cat's body and the extremities) is therefore splendid and I hope to fix it on my cats.

Finally, being external to the FIFe circuit it is a supply of new blood, which, if it is healthy blood of strong lines, is always a good thing because it actually strengthens health and broadens the genetic pool.
